Four years after it debuted here as the Converj concept, the Cadillac ELR production model was unveiled. Set to begin production in Q4 and arriving in dealerships early next year, the 2014 ELR is targeting the compact luxury segment. It's built on a modified version of the platform utilized by two compact Chevrolets: the Cruze and Volt. Aimed at the world's largest luxury markets (the U.S., Europe and China), the ELR also appears destined for Canada. At least, that's what on Cadillac product rep told me.
